DESCRIPTION :
Tandoori Roti is an Indian bread .Made in clay oven or Tandoor.I am sharing a recipe using which you can make Tandoori Roti at home on a tawa. Tandoori roti is an Indian dish.made of a mixture of wheat flour and and all purpose flour (Maida).THINGS NEEDED :
- Maida
- wheat flour
- white oil
- milk or boil water
- salt sugar
- butter
- ajwain
- curd.
HOW TO MAKE :
* To make the dough of Tandoori Roti : mixed maida ,wheat flour,white oil,curd ,salt ,sugar and ajwain in a bowl.
* add milk or hot water and make a tight dough.make sure that the dough is not sticky or wet.
* keep the dough for 10 _ 15 min until it is smooth.cover the dough and keep aside.
* Take it and make a medium small ball from the dough.
* The thickness of Tandoori Roti is slightly more than that of phulko luchi or paratha.
* now add ajwain on it and press it slightly.
* now apply water on the other side and transfer the Roti on hot tawa.
* turn the tawa back and cook the roti for another 30 second .
*Remove the roti from tawa and apply ghee or butter on top and serve hot with chicken or paneer.
