DESCRIPTION:

Khapse is famous Arunachal Pradesh snacks. Losar is a Tibetian word for new year which is celebrate by Buddhists. khapse is used for snacks and special bhog of lord Buddha in Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Sikkim. It is a traditional biscuits. It can served with tea or coffee the fried one but for puja purpose used liquid kheer on the top.

  INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

All purpose flour (maida),Milk,sooji,salt ,sugar baking powder,white oil,elachi and ghee.
 

HOW TO MAKE :

1. PREPARATION OF DOUGH:

  • take all purpose flour
  • salt,sugar
  •  baking powder
  • sooji and mixed it well.
  •  Then add some white oil
  •  milk and make a soft dough.

2.SHAPE AND SIZE:

make a lachi from dough flatten it by using rolling pin cut it and make a y shape by using knife. you can also make the shape by your choise.

3 . FRYING :

fry all khapse in oil till they turn  brown in colour.

4 SERVE :

Enjoy crispy khapse with tea or coffee and for puja purpose used as bhog by using kheer on top.
