KATHAL DANAR SANDESH

DESCRIPTION:

Sandesh which we bengalis pronounce as sondesh, is a traditional and authentic sweet of Bengal. It was first invented by Bengali confectioners. Same as other Indian festivals, any Bengali festivals such as durga Puja to bhaiduj or bhaiphonta are also incomplete without sweets and especially, bengali sondesh is one of them. It has a huge admirer among Bengalis, though nowadays it got its world-wide fame. Kathal danar sandesh is a unique recipe.
Kathal danar sandesh is a traditional desert.
I use this kathal danar sandesh as puja's bhog.
Every festival incomplete without sweet so you must prepare this kathal danar sandesh as a festive dish.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED

FOR KATHAL DANAR SANDESH:

1.kathal dana
2.amul spay
3.liquid milk
4 salt and sugar as per taste.
5 . Honey
6. Rose water optional
7.elachi
8.ghee
9.cornflour


HOW TO MAKE KATHAL DANAR SANDESH:

1.Take a pan add water salt and kathal dana make it boil.
2.peel it up and make a dry paste. Use griender or traditional sil nora.
3.take a pan add ghee, elachi, and kathal danar paste.
4.add sugar, honey and mixed it well.
5.add amul spay and liquid milk  boil it.
6.add rose water and cornflour cook it well.
7.cool it and add some ghee and make a smooth paste with hand.
8.apply some ghee and make a different shapes as you wish and serve it.
